As Mayor, I
welcome you to City of Carrollton website and I encourage you to visit our city.
As you travel across Kentucky, you will discover many locations that offer
exciting places to visit and sites to see.
Traveling through the mountains of Eastern Kentucky, the beautiful
bluegrass horse country and to the vast lakes of Western Kentucky, you will
encounter unique topography, historic sites and foods.
Carrollton, situated at the confluence of the Kentucky and Ohio Rivers,
offers historic sites dating to the Civil War, General Butler State Park,
excellent fishing opportunities, boating and camping.
In the near future we will have an RV park located adjacent to our Point
Park which is located at the confluence of the two rivers.
We are developing a plan for growth of our recreational facilities which
will be phased in over the next five to ten years.
When you visit, we hope you enjoy your visit and encourage comments about
likes, dislikes and what you would see as a needed convince.
